Five More Paintball Films to Watch NOW!
DerDer's Progression, Paintball Fit- Road To A Championship, PUSH, Rivalry: Vicious vs XSV, Best Kids in Texas
This is the second part of my short series showcasing my favorite paintball films of all time. With the incredible response to sharing five films last week, I’m going to showcase five more. I am in the process of ranking my top 20 films for a later article, so to be clear this list is not a top five, but rather another pick five from the films I’ve watched recently. Feel free to send me your film lists! You can include them in ranking order or just a pick-5/10 format. I’d like to see the films that you think are worth sharing!
DerDer’s Progression
This film is one of the most popular of all time. It features some of the legends of the game in their prime. Players like Oliver Lang, B-Short, and Todd Martinez have notable appearances with their own edits. Progression also has one of my favorite quotes from a paintball film ever from Mike Hinman. While giving a speech to his guys on San Diego Aftermath, Mike says, “There’s no mercy for anybody. Man, woman, or child’.

Paintball FIT - Road To A Championship
Major League Paintball uploaded this film just a few weeks ago and has been received very well by the public. It tells the story of Paintball FIT during the 2024 season and their path to ultimately winning the 2024 NXL World Cup.

PUSH
Chances are, you’ve heard an old-school paintball player at the field talk about this film. Sure, the guy probably wears camouflage and shoots an Autococker, but he’s actually on to something. Most of us experienced this film for the first time on VHS. This film needs no introduction. Just watch.
Rivalry: The Vicious - XSV Paintball Documentary from Planet Eclipse
This film has real drama. It follows Team Vicious and XSV and showcases some of their battles during the 2009 PSP season. These two iconic teams were actually fighting for the top semi-pro (Division 1) spot this season. One of my good friends loves this film and always brings it up when we are talking about paintball films.

Best Kids in Texas
Best Kids in Texas tells the story of Texas paintball leading up to the success X-Factor had on their run into the pro division. The film was actually received very well by critics and was featured in a few film festivals. If your knowledge of Texas paintball starts and ends with Paintball FIT, you absolutely need to watch this film.
